Our longstanding relationship with Babcock has seen us support numerous teams across their different divisions and groups. Event graphics, slide decks, websites, digital marketing, advertising, visualisation, employee engagement, apprentice engagement, workshop creation, templates. The variety of work delivered speaks volumes about our agility of mind and technical expertise.

What’s the deal?

Organisations don’t come more complex than Babcock, with more than 34,000 employees across a global footprint, working in aviation, marine, land and nuclear, in defence and civil roles; from designing and manufacturing navy ships to mowing the grass on military airbases. And managing communications to all those staff and all those customers – a small band of comms professionals.

The variety of work delivered for Babcock speaks volumes about our agility of mind and technical expertise.

So what?

Comms teams juggle the needs of high level strategic demands of the Board, employee engagement, brand governance, event attendance, customer relations and sales and business development. The timeframes they work within are commonly somewhere between tight and impossible. They need creative teams that get the world they work in and can operate at their pace. If that team can bring their own sector experience to the table, all the better.

Yeah, but, so what?

The strongest indicator of the value we deliver for Babcock is how many times we’ve been referred internally ie. how many people in Babcock have recommended us to their colleagues. For them to do that, they need to know they’re not going to be embarrassed, that their reputation will be upheld. We take that seriously.

Favourite project?

There are two that immediately standout. We helped the Talent, Learning and Development team devise and produce a workshop to improve staff empathy and behaviours to one another. It has proved to be very successful, and to have a hand in improving people’s working lives is truly rewarding. More recently, we devised and produced the campaign to attract apprenticeship applications to Babcock Marine’s courses at Plymouth. Full of positivity, energy, colour and personality, and delivered across a variety of media, including press, radio and online advertising.
