What’s the deal?

We have long extolled the virtues of involving your creative teams early in a project. Proposals are no different. In this context, experienced creatives can offer ways to develop your win themes visually, they develop a more comprehensive understanding of your solution and are therefore, better placed to offer further opportunities to differentiate your submission. BDUK’s team get that.

So what?

Our design team deployed to BDUK has produced over 2,000 graphics in support of more than 30 proposals, for a sum total value in excess of £5bn.

Yeah, but, so what?

During this period, BDUK has landed a range of significant contracts, including P-8 Poseidon, E-7 Wedgetail AEW&C, DCS&S, Chinook through life customer support, Apache training and support and C-17 Training.

Boeing P-8 Poseidon

Favourite project?

For us it has to be the P-8 Poseidon. Some of us on the EJ team are proper aviation nerds, and a very small number of the team are old enough to remember the retirement of the RAF’s fleet of Nimrods. To be in some remote way related to the UK’s new anti-submarine, search and rescue, anti-surface, ship tracking and interdiction capability is really rewarding.

Integrated teams are pivitol in delivering winning results

Being integrated within a team like BDUK’s proves time and again how pivotal creative partnering – especially in the pressured contexts of proposal production – can be towards powerful, winning submissions. It enables an iterative process that is rapid, yet generates the most compelling and accurate visual storytelling.
