Team TARIAN is a young consortium, bringing together the esteemed talents of General Dynamics Mission Systems, L3Harris Technologies, ROKE and CGI to innovate and deliver cutting edge technologies and systems integration for frontline force protection. Our work with Team TARIAN is a great exemplar of the broad bid support we can deliver to Capture and Bid teams.

What’s the deal?

Team TARIAN was brought together to respond to two high profile bids in the land defence domain. The team is comprised of some of the sector’s most experienced and renowned talents. EllisJames began with TARIAN’s branding, but we’ve gone on to support them through two major bids, and continue to support with wider engagement materials, including a six minute animation explainer video.

So what?

Wisely, Meadow3 and TARIAN invited us to talk with them at an early stage of their bid response development. This meant our contextual understanding of their win themes matured as their solution did. It also meant we could get a really good feel for the personality and motivators of the brand which fed into the branding solution and visual positioning. This in turn set us up well to hit the ground running when the proposal documents needed developing.

Yeah, but, so what?

Our BidSquad team collaborated directly with SMEs on the TARIAN responses through a secure platform, helping them to visualise solutions and concepts and enabling their writing team to see their work in context as the documents developed. With the comprehensive branding work already done, ensuring brand consistency across both proposals was straightforward, presenting a unified face for a unified team. Together, our BidSquad team produced well over 100 graphics.

Favourite project?

Our ongoing work with Team TARIAN is eminently rewarding – they’re a great team to work with, but we believe in the important work they do to protect our people on the frontline. It’s fascinating stuff too. Our favourite project so far has to be the amazing explainer video that we produced – at six minutes run time, it’s something of an epic, but we’ve edited out a variety of clipped sections for use in digital marketing, multiplying the use value from the one output. It also features on their growing website, which we happened to design and produce too.
